What is the nightly rate to book Whiskey Creek?

Rental rates vary based on season, weekday, and stay length. Rental rates do not include taxes that will be paid by renter of roughly 13%. Rates, fees, and taxes are subject to change without prior notice at any time. Whiskey Creek does require a two night minimum stay. Please see our Pricing page for more information.

What are check in and check out policies?

Check in is at 3pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is at 10am the day after your arrival.

Are pets allowed on property?

Yes! We are a dog friendly rental. Please inquire when you book your reservation regarding your specific animals. The pet fee is $300 per pet. There is a maximum of 2 pets allowed during the rental term, unless there is a written authorization from Owner.

If pets are not permitted, or an additional pet is found on the property, this is a material breach of the lease agreement and a forfeiture of all rental fees. Owner reserves the right to subject Guest to an expedited eviction, an additional $750 fine, and a $500 cleaning charge, including but not limited to flea treatment of the property. Additional pet policies are outlined and applied per contract.

What amenities does the house provide for guests?

The home is equipped with a washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Guest groups are assigned a personal entrance code for the duration of their stay on the keyless entry lock. Provided with your stay: bath towels, hand towels and washcloths, bath mats, and kitchen linens. A first night amenity kit which includes: toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags will be waiting for you. Professional cleaning service is provided after every guest stay.

What if we need to cancel our stay?

We understand that cancellations happen and we want to be sure guests understand our cancellation policy before booking their stay. Guests may cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation without loss of deposit, except for reservations made seven (7) days or less before the date of arrival.

Early Cancellations qualify for a full refund of the original deposit if made 30 days or more prior to the date of arrival. Cancellations within 15 to 30 days of arrival will result in a 25% forfeit of the deposit.

Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will result in a charge of 50% of the rate for the cancelled/forfeited days. Cancellations within 7 days prior to the date of arrival will result in the loss of 100% of the reservation total. We will do our best to book another Guest, and if successful, we can offer partial refunds minus any administrative fee.

Where can guests park?

A carport is available as well as a driveway for parking. We ask you do not park on the grass due to irrigation, drainage, and sewage systems that run underneath. If you are having an event, we will allow for additional parking up front towards the street.

What restaurants are close by?

Whiskey Creek is located centrally in the heart of Wilmington. Our local favorite coffee shop, Port City Java, is right up the road on Greenville Loop. Whiskey Creek is 20 minutes from amazing seafood restaurants on Wrightsville Beach (The Oceanic and Bluewater). Heading towards downtown ILM, you’ll find old world charm with carriage rides and some of the top chefs in Eastern North Carolina. Be sure to make reservations for Catch, Seabird, or manna. Tour local filming locations on the Riverfront from One Tree Hill and Dawson’s Creek. Needing a sweet treat? Be sure to check out Boombalatti’s and Kilwin’s for ice cream and fudge. K38 is a local favorite for tacos and Indochine has the best Asian fusion. Feel like grilling up your own seafood? Best catch can be found at Mott’s Channel Seafood.
